9th July - First go at the run route
Had time for a short run this afternoon - so, after heading off on my normal route across the Water Meadows, changed my mind and took off towards Foxley to see how the run route felt. The run out was a bit of a slog with a slight head-wind, but made it to the turn-round point in about 14 mins. A shortbreak to catch my breath and the run back seemed to be easier - but technically it’s uphill, including the sharp slope at the bottom of Gastons Road, and took about 16 mins.
All-in-all, pretty pleased with that. . . need to get a few aerobic sessions under my belt on a Turbo trainer.
