5th August - Cold water therapy

Same run as Monday, but it was way wetter and the days of rain had turned the route into a quagmire. It was safer not to try avoiding the puddles and mud, that risked ending up on the slippery bits to the side on my backside, so I just plouged on through - plastered again.

After the last few runs I’ve tried some homemade cold water therapy by turning the garden hose on my legs. Five minutes of cold water. I certainly feel less ‘achy’ after the runs, but whether it’s the ‘therapy’ is up for debate. I have noticed that while my right foot can bear the cold water, I find it agonising on my left foot - so not sure if something’s going on there.
