Wellgo V12 Copy - flat pedals
I’m giving some flat pedals a go in 2010 - too many fast cross-country SPD-related spills and a very embarrassing “stopped-bike-but-could-not-get-feet-out-of-pedals” crash during 2009 - while my heart pounded “DMR, DMR”, I opted for the cheaper Wellgo DMR V12 clones. If I get on with the flatties, but the Wellgos don’t live up to expectations, then I’ll get the real DMRs.
However, first impressions are of a good pedal - especially dashing in yellow, methinks. I do wonder why the moulding includes a lip for reflectors (the reflectors were included), rather than removing the extra metal complexity, but I suspect that there’s some EU ruling behind that.
