Sunday, 17 January 2010 - Off-road
We had some discussion as to whether today’s ride should be on or off-road - I’m so glad we went for the decision to go off-road on the basis that it was looking like a wet start to the day. . . the roads and paths were treacherous. I don’t know where that frost came from - it certainly hadn’t set in at 22.00 last night. Neil came off on the Tetbury road - the bike just slid out from under him - and slipped of the Fosse Way a bit further on - and there were several foot dousings that froze the toes. That said, the sun did come out and all-in-all it was a very pleasant, if unexpectedly cold, ride.
