Biggest crash for a long-time this morning.

Full pelt along the singletrack that was once the Tetbury-Cirencester railway – hit a kink in the trail, with a zig-zag left then right with a drop of about a foot midway. It should have been easy, but the ground was wet and as the trail dropped away so did the bike.

It was a big outing – nothing broken, but plenty of bruises down my right side and lots of swearing. Bike only slightly bent – gearing knocked out of kilter, but should adjust easily with a minor service.

Hmmm… the shortlist gets a bit longer… those dastardly folks at Boardman have produced a bike that has some design flair, a bike that looks as good as the reviews that the whole Boardman are attracting… across the range, those reviews are better than any other brand at the moment.

So we’re adding the new Boardman MTB Hardtail Pro version to our list of possibles to replace the trusty Kilifler.
